Referral program is for every new family that our current families refer to us they will receive 1 week free tuition. Disclaimer: New Family must be enrolled for at least 6 weeks to receive the free week.
- Free dental exams twice a year by representatives from Will County
All children 6 months and up are eligible. They just need to provide insurance/medical card, as well as fill out a consent/information form. The Will County Dental Service works with insurance companies and any additional costs are submitted through them.
- Free tuition
Parents receive 1 week (5 days) of free tuition after they've been at the center a year! This vacation credit can be used ONCE per calendar year for 5 consecutive days.
- Family/parent book lending program
Each week a child takes home a “Bag Book” and a journal that coincides with the weekly lesson. The parent is asked to read the book and discuss the lesson with the child. The Journal is for parents to say if and what their child liked about the “Bag Book.” This project is given to he children on Friday's and due back on Monday.
- We help families with resources such as CCR&R
Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is a not-for-profit agency providing child care information and services to families, child care providers and employers. Individuals who are income eligible and are working or enrolled in an approved education/training program are eligible for assistance in their child care payments. CCR&R partners with the Department of Human Services in assisting Illinois families with their financial child care needs.
- Lunch included in tuition
There's Fun In Learning is a sponsor for the Child and Adult Care Food Program through the Illinois State Board of Education and USDA. All of our food is provided by Lunch at Hand Catering Service. Meal guidelines are set by the USDA to ensure your child receives healthy and nutritious meals throughout the day. Lunch at Hand provides a variety of nutritious meals on their menus that follow the guidelines set by the USDA. If a child has a known allergy, a doctor's note should be provided. A notification to the catering service will be made and a special meal will be provided for children with allergies. TFIL's kitchen and staff meet the requirements from the Will County Health Department as well as DCFS.
